The Story Behind Reasha


The name Reasha found us at a time when we were searching for something that could hold more than just a beautiful sound.

One morning, Ayah 26 of Surah Al-A‘raf came to mind. In it, Allah speaks of the garments given to mankind and uses two words: libās, for clothing that covers and protects, and rīsh, for adornment — the beauty, fineness and grace that clothing can carry beyond its necessity.

That one word, rīsh, expressed something we had been trying to define all along. We wanted to create clothing that served its purpose beautifully; pieces in which modesty, refinement and adornment could exist together.

From that meaning came Reasha.

The name became more than an identity for the brand. It became the thought behind everything we create: that what we wear can have purpose and still be beautiful.

And we could not have found better words than His.
